Job Description

Lead Maintenance Technician Clearline Technologies | Full-Time, Permanent | On-Site Keep Innovation Running. Build What Matters. We're looking for a Maintenance / Industrial Mechanic who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in solving problems, improving systems, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. About the Role This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving industrial equipment across our facility. From hydraulics and pneumatics to mechanical systems and production machinery, you'll play a key role in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement. This position also serves as a lead hand and team captain on the floor, combining hands-on work with strong leadership and coordination responsibilities. You will lead by example, providing day-to-day direction to the team, supporting work planning, and helping organize schedules and task priorities to ensure efficient operations. You are someone who motivates peers, fosters accountability, and brings positive energy to the team. In this role, you'll be expected to take initiative, guide, and support others, and help coordinate maintenance activities to meet operational needs, while contributing to a strong, collaborative maintenance culture and remaining actively involved in the work. What You'll Be Doing o Troubleshoot, install, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems o Maintain and service pumps, motors, gearboxes, and production equipment o Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery, including mold changes and equipment adjustments o Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance o Support prototyping and testing of new equipment, tools, and processes o Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency o Maintain high standards for safety, housekeeping, and quality control o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and improve operations What You Bring o Minimum 3+ years of progressive maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment o Demonstrates the ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and contribute to a positive, high performing team environment o Strong aptitude with working knowledge of: o Hydraulics o Pneumatics o Basic electrical systems o Welding o Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues independently o A high level of accountability and ownership in your work o Computer skills (maintenance systems, basic diagnostic, or reporting tools) o PLC troubleshooting and automation system experience o Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset o Consistent track record of reliability, safety, and attendance Nice to Have (But Not Required) o Experience in molding or similar manufacturing environments o Robotic experience o Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives Clearline Technologies is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
