1st shift Job type : Full time opportunity #GRPB Must Have(s): High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Some Technical education or certification as a Machinist or Journeyman Toolmaker. 5+ Years' Experience in working as a Technician on Automated Machines in a Manufacturing environment. Must have 20/40 correctable vision. Must be capable of lifting 70 lbs. from floor to waist and have full use of all digits. Capable of standing and/or sitting for more than 90 minutes straight and not suffering from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs. Serve as the Maintenance Technician Supervisor, and Lead Technician for all shifts and all processes in connector manufacturing. Lead the development of control systems for automated equipment. Manage all phases of controls development for assigned projects, from functional requirements and architecture through to programming, power-up, and commissioning. Collaborate with mechanical and process engineering teams to define and document control system functional requirements. Specify electrical, pneumatic, thermal, and motion control components based on system requirements. Oversee creation and revision of electrical schematics. Design and develop control systems software, including programming PLCs, HMI/SCADA platforms, Motion Controllers, and servo drives. Execute system startup, debug, tuning, and machine qualification for new or upgraded automation systems. Provide troubleshooting and support for existing production machinery and control systems. Manage technical resources and coordinate timelines for controls-related project activities. Implement control system software changes to support upgrades, process improvements, or safety initiatives. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of software templates and standards for control system functionality, structure, and documentation. Ensure systems are designed with safety, sustainability, and long-term performance in compliance with standards such as NFPA 79, UL508A, and

ISO 3849-1.
