Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance within our operations. In this pivotal role, you will manage maintenance teams, coordinate repair activities, and ensure the optimal functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Your leadership will drive safety compliance, streamline maintenance procedures, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact operational efficiency while maintaining a safe, reliable, and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams, managing daily operations and ensuring adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), plumbing, HVAC systems, and other facility infrastructure. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule preventive maintenance, track work orders, and analyze maintenance data for continuous improvement. Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems repair, electrical troubleshooting with tools like ohmmeters, schematics interpretation, and HVAC system repair. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating resources effectively while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, safety inspections, schematics, and equipment records using Microsoft Office tools. Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety regulations and industry best practices while managing high voltage and low voltage electrical systems safely. Qualifications Proven management experience leading facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams with strong team management skills. Extensive mechanical knowledge including mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, and electrical systems expertise. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and understanding of high/low voltage electrical systems. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and safety procedures in industrial environments. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Proficiency in using CMMS software and Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team leadership and coordination across departments. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing facilities maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.
