Job Description

About Us Fox Contractors Corp. is an Indiana-based earthmoving and underground utility contractor. We specialize in heavy highway, public works, commercial and industrial site development. This includes work for DOT's, municipalities, general contractors, developers, healthcare, education and environmental projects. We are seeking an individual with a positive attitude who is a team player and enjoys working with others. Must have strong work ethic, leadership skills, and highly organized with attention to detail. This individual will be responsible for supervising all shop and field mechanics as well as coordinating all shop and field service, preventative maintenance and repairs for the Indianapolis area. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in heavy equipment fleet maintenance and shop operations. Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch field repairs efficiently Coordinate all preventative maintenance for field and shop Help mechanics troubleshoot repairs Orders parts for repairs Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics Input service repairs and work orders into system Have good communications skills with vendors and foreman Maintain a clean and organized shop Enforces strict compliance of all safety requirements Qualifications 10 years experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repairs 3-5 years experience in managing shop operations Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems Proven organizational and planning capabilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Valid Driver's license Experience with CAT equipment preferred but not required
