Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Fabrication Maintenance Lead will direct the daily activities of and work directly with Fab Maintenance Technicians within an assigned area. They will be responsible for being an example to other Team Members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions. They are additionally responsible for maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum available uptime for production while ensuring the safest work environment possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Monitor and participate in operations in assigned areas Give guidance, support, and professional development to technicians Assist in scheduling of work according to priorities and direction from the supervisor or superintendentEnsure that all techs properly use the warehouse processesWork with maintenance supervisor and superintendent, to develop needed training for all techsAssist in managing daily shift downtime reconciliation/action itemsEnsure every position in area of responsibility is properly staffed at the start of each shiftManage team members break times to ensure rotations are followed and time is not exceededFollow the plants continuous improvement process and planAll other duties as assigned
