Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mobile Home Maintenance Lead to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations for mobile home communities. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of mobile homes and surrounding facilities. As a leader in facilities management, you will supervise maintenance teams, manage preventative and corrective repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance will drive efficiency and quality across all maintenance activities, fostering a safe and well-maintained environment for residents and staff alike. Duties Lead and supervise maintenance in the park, performing routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades on mobile homes and community facilities. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules utilizing Rent Manager App Suite Pro to optimize equipment uptime. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage circuits, using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Manage projects related to facility upgrades, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical components ensuring timely completion within scope. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, including proper handling of high voltage equipment and adherence to OSHA regulations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inventory levels, safety inspections, and repair logs using CMMS software. Collaborate with management on facility improvements, budget planning, and resource allocation to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements Proven management experience supervising maintenance operations within the manufactured home community. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems—both low voltage and high voltage—and HVAC systems. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure. Fluency in English and Spanish with strong communication skills for team coordination and reporting purposes. Supervising experience in maintenance or facilities roles is highly preferred.
