Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations within our multi family portfolio. This pivotal role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring the reliable operation of industrial equipment, electrical systems, and property maintenance. As a key member of our team, you will lead maintenance activities, supervise technicians, and implement proactive strategies to optimize equipment performance and safety. Your hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, combined with management experience, will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across our facilities. Duties Oversee the preventive maintenance program using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), scheduling routine inspections and repairs to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, low voltage, high voltage, HVAC, and industrial maintenance issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, facility improvements, or new installations, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and safety inspections to support compliance and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with on-site teams to coordinate maintenance schedules that align with property demands while minimizing disruptions. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards related to electrical systems (including high voltage), mechanical systems, and facilities management. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals Extensive experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and maintenance planning. Skilled in troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; familiar with schematics for complex systems. Knowledge of facilities management principles including safety standards, environmental regulations, and building systems maintenance. Project management skills to oversee upgrades or new installations from planning through execution. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
