Maintenance Manager - Mid-Kansas Division Pratt & Medicine Lodge, KS Why is this job important? The Maintenance Manager helps ensure Arrowhead West Inc. facilities, vehicles, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained so employees can provide quality services to the people we support in both Pratt and Medicine Lodge, KS. This position plays a key role in preserving agency assets, maintaining compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, overseeing maintenance staff, and coordinating repairs and improvement projects across both locations in the Mid-Kansas Division. What will you do? Coordinate and oversee general maintenance and minor repair projects for agency facilities, vehicles, and grounds. Supervise maintenance staff and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to agency standards. Perform and oversee repairs involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, painting, HVAC, and vehicle maintenance. Conduct routine preventive maintenance inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment, and vehicles, maintaining required documentation and records. Coordinate approved remodeling, repair, and improvement projects with department leaders and outside vendors as needed. Assist with maintaining compliance with licensing, certification, accreditation, and safety requirements. Ensure agency properties, equipment, and vehicles are maintained in a safe and operational condition. Participate as a member of the agency Safety Committee and promote safe work practices. Prepare annual maintenance and repair budget requests and assist with project planning. Maintain accurate records, submit requisitions and documentation in a timely manner, monitor weekly timesheets & leave approvals, and conduct various inspections. What will you need? High school diploma or GED required. Five years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building maintenance. Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, engines, machinery, and vehicle maintenance preferred. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize work with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and recordkeeping skills. Ability to work safely and follow all agency policies and procedures. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Use of a personal vehicle may be required. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, climbing, bending, operating tools and equipment, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. What will you earn? Non-exempt position earning $19.50-$26.50 per hour. Excellent benefit package.
