The Maintenance Supervisor (OTP) leads daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operation. This role oversees technicians, schedules work, supports troubleshooting, and drives continuous improvement, playing a key role in equipment reliability, team development, and maintaining high safety and performance standards. This position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate. Your 'day to day' Promote a safe work environment and enforce safe work practices Analyze operations and recommend improvements for labor, materials, and equipment efficiency Schedule and oversee maintenance activities to maximize team performance Lead, coach, and motivate maintenance teams to meet productivity goals Support production through optimal machine utilization and reduced downtime Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., problem solving, 5S) Ensure proper training, performance management, and development of team members Maintain maintenance inventory and implement efficient storage practices Monitor equipment condition and manage preventive maintenance to maximize uptime Support installation and integration of new machinery Maintain accurate employee records (payroll, attendance, performance) Collaborate with production to optimize equipment and process performance Ensure compliance with labor agreements and company policies Work a flexible schedule across shifts as needed Who we're looking for: Education & Experience Vocational training or equivalent experience 5+ years of mechanical/electrical experience in manufacturing Skills & Competencies Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills Proven ability to schedule work, train teams, and drive accountability Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, programming) Experience with CMMS and maintenance reliability practices Highly organized with strong attention to detail Continuous improvement mindset Other Requirements Ability to understand labor contracts Must complete NOCTI assessment Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
