Job Description

LANDSIDE MANAGER
The England Economic and Industrial Development District (England Airpark) is seeking an experienced Landside Manager to lead the maintenance and operations of the England Airpark industrial campus and residential community. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring our buildings, infrastructure, grounds, and facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained while supervising a skilled team of maintenance professionals. The Landside Manager oversees preventive maintenance programs, coordinates repair projects, manages departmental operations, and provides leadership for a diverse maintenance team supporting one of Central Louisiana's largest mixed-use developments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate the Landside Maintenance team. Plan, prioritize, and oversee preventive maintenance and repair projects for commercial and residential facilities. Coordinate maintenance activities involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, roofing, welding, mechanical systems, flooring, and grounds maintenance. Inspect buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and recommend capital improvement projects. Manage departmental scheduling, payroll timekeeping, work orders, and employee performance evaluations. Assist with budget preparation, project cost estimates, and the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment. Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments, contractors, and outside agencies. Respond to emergency maintenance situations and ensure timely resolution of facility issues. Maintain accurate reports, records, and regulatory documentation. Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with England Airpark policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial or residential building maintenance, facility systems, or related trades. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience. Valid Louisiana driver's license required.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
