This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily activities of relief valve and block valve repair, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, exceptional leadership skills, and extensive hands-on experience with relief valves and block valves. Minimum 5 years experience in running a valve shop. As a Shop Foreman, you will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence while fostering a positive team atmosphere that promotes safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance. Lead troubleshooting efforts using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals to identify issues accurately and efficiently Assign tasks to technicians based on skill level and workload while monitoring progress to meet operational deadlines Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Conduct quality inspections on completed repairs to verify adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inventory logs for parts, tools, and equipment used in repairs Provide mentorship and training to technicians on new technologies, repair techniques, and safety procedures Experience Proven record of running and valve shop for a minimum of 5 years. Extensive hands-on experience with safety relief valves and block valves.
