Job Description
Job Overview Cordeiro Properties has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor position to oversee all maintenance responsibilities for 192 apartments and commercial space over multiple properties in Fall River, MA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and an appreciation for maintaining both the functionality and historic integrity of the property. Experience working in residential housing and commercial spaces is highly valued. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs across residential units, commercial spaces, and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry Complete work orders efficiently while providing high-quality customer service to residents and commercial tenants Support upkeep of a historic property, ensuring repairs maintain the integrity and appearance of the building Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections of building systems, common areas, and grounds Assist with apartment turnovers, including repairs, painting, and preparation for new occupancy Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and completed tasks Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation as required Ensure compliance with HUD Housing Quality Standards (HQS), safety protocols, and company policies Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and preparation for compliance reviews Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance spaces in a clean and organized manner Support groundskeeping, snow removal, and general property upkeep as needed Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members Qualifications 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems Experience working in older or historic buildings preferred Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs independently Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with a diverse resident population Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required Valid driver's license preferred
