You will play a pivotal role in optimizing plant performance by guiding a skilled team of technicians and contractors through complex maintenance and troubleshooting initiatives. Responsibilities Direct daily maintenance workflows, ensuring all electrical and instrumentation tasks are executed with a focus on safety, precision, and regulatory compliance. Drive the success of the preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize the longevity of plant assets. Provide hands-on technical leadership in the field, supporting the troubleshooting of control systems, analyzers, and power distribution networks. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to prioritize work orders, manage maintenance backlogs, and ensure efficient resource allocation. Foster a culture of professional growth by mentoring staff, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating technical training. Oversee contractor activities to ensure adherence to site safety protocols and high-quality workmanship standards. Champion continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing system reliability and operational efficiency. Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance. Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage technical personnel in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with industrial control systems, VFDs, motor controls, and process instrumentation. Comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety standards, including LOTO and hazardous energy control. Experience utilizing CMMS software for work order management and maintenance planning. Preferred Skills Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Previous experience in chemical, refinery, or heavy industrial manufacturing sectors. Demonstrated expertise in maintaining DCS, PLC, and networked industrial control infrastructure.
