About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to serve as the company's most experienced maintenance professional across our growing residential and commercial portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex maintenance challenges, working alongside a team, and taking ownership of keeping buildings operating at the highest level. This is a hands-on position. You will spend the majority of your time supporting maintenance technicians in the field, handling complex repairs, leading preventative maintenance efforts, coordinating vendors, and assisting with capital improvement projects. You will also provide technical expertise and help ensure our properties receive timely, high-quality maintenance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to maintenance technicians with difficult or high-priority work orders.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and building systems.
• Assist with overflow work orders during periods of high maintenance demand.
• Regularly visit portfolio properties to provide technical support and ensure quality workmanship.
• Troubleshoot recurring maintenance issues and recommend long-term solutions.
• Develop, implement, and execute preventative maintenance programs.
• Inspect building systems, equipment, roofs, mechanical rooms, common areas, and exterior building components.
• Identify maintenance issues before they become costly repairs.
• Assist with planning and execution of capital improvement projects, renovations, and equipment replacements.
• Coordinate and oversee specialty contractors and vendors while ensuring quality work and timely completion.
• Document inspections, completed work, and recommendations for future repairs and capital planning.
• Maintain specialty tools, equipment, and inventory required for larger repair projects.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and applicable building codes.
• Participate in the emergency on-call rotation. Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or facilities maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex maintenance issues and implement practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Experience coordinating outside vendors and specialty contractors.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with maintenance technicians and property managers.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Pay:

$36.00 - $40.00 per hour
