You will take ownership of several existing service departments. We want a fixed operations leader known for driving profit improvement, building people, and consistently impressing customers. Requirements of theService Director:
5 or more years of upward automotive fixed ops leadership, including time spent as a Service Manager, Fixed Operations Manager, or an equivalent position Excellent people skills relating to the management of Customers and Technicians Demonstrated wins leading service operations in a high-volume retail automotive setting Fluency in reading department financials and interpreting core service KPIs Established ability to attract, grow, and hold onto top-performing teams Proven gains in tech productivity, labor sales growth, guest retention, and bottom-line department performance Working proficiency in DMS platforms, with CDK preferred, and the Microsoft Office suite Import franchise exposure, particularly Toyota, is a requirement. Consistent tenure pattern showing long-term leadership impact, plus a valid license and acceptable driving history Responsibilities of theService Manager:
Run all daily department functions spanning scheduling, staffing, throughput, workflow, and profitability Source, onboard, coach, and retain Service Advisors, Technicians, Dispatchers, and support roles Monitor performance indicators including repair order volume, effective labor rate, technician efficiency and proficiency, labor gross, CSI, warranty metrics, and retention Work hand-in-hand with Parts, Sales, and executive leadership to lift overall fixed operations output Maintain full alignment with manufacturer standards, warranty rules, safety requirements, and company policy Create scalable processes and operating disciplines to support future expansion Handle escalated concerns personally and keep the guest experience front and center Own department forecasting, expense management, and financial goal attainment Support as needed If this sounds like you or someone you know, click Apply or share the job today!Disclaimer:
