Role SummaryAs an Electrician on our Customer Care Service team, you will service, troubleshoot, and repair residential solar PV systems, including battery storage and EV charging equipment. You will diagnose electrical issues, perform maintenance and repairs, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently in compliance with electrical codes.

Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair electrical issues in residential solar PV systems (wiring, inverters, panels, monitoring systems)Service and maintain solar components including modules, inverters, junction boxes, and disconnectsTroubleshoot and repair battery storage systems and EV chargersIdentify system performance issues and electrical faultsPerform electrical testing and diagnostics (voltage, continuity, insulation resistance)Complete preventative maintenance to improve system reliabilityRepair or replace damaged wiring and system componentsInstall basic protective upgrades (critters, sealants, flashing) as neededDocument service work using mobile tools and appsCommunicate with homeowners regarding service and repairsFollow NEC and all safety standardsMaintain clean and stocked company vehicleSupport field/install teams when neededRequirementsValid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required Minimum 2 years of solar electrical experienceCommercial Solar experience is a plus Experience with Tesla battery systems and energy storageStrong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systemsAbility to troubleshoot and repair residential electrical systemsFamiliarity with NEC code requirementsAbility to work on roofs, ladders, attics, and confined spacesAbility to lift up to 75 lbsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to use mobile devices for documentationValid drivers license required Must pass background check and drug screeningPerks & Benefits15 days PTO + paid holidaysMaternity and parental leaveMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid training and professional development
