We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to support and coordinate daily maintenance operations while ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. This role is responsible for guiding maintenance activities, assisting with troubleshooting and repairs, monitoring work quality, and helping reduce downtime through effective preventive maintenance. The position works closely with the maintenance team and production to ensure equipment and systems are maintained in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and operational needs, while also supporting continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
Responsibilities:
Assign and prioritize work based on production needs, equipment status, and team capability Monitor work quality and address performance issues as needed Provide guidance and support to technicians to improve job-related skills Evaluate equipment and systems to identify maintenance and repair needs Inspect work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure safe working conditions Enforce safety procedures and provide training to prevent unsafe practices Inspect and test completed work to confirm it meets required standards Support efforts to reduce downtime through preventive maintenance practices Maintain appropriate inventory levels for parts, tools, and supplies Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, tracking equipment performance and trends Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment, including adherence to
GMPs Experience, Skills, Education:
High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience required Previous leadership experience preferred Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety practices Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team Experience with maintenance systems and equipment optimization
Compensation:
Base Pay Range:
$27.01 - $45.01 Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
