Job Description

Maintenance Manager - Commercial Greenhouse Catoctin Mtn Growers is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance of our greenhouse facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Compensation & Benefits Health insurance PTO Holiday pay 401k guaranteed contribution of 5% Company wide profit sharing program Schedule Full time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday Responsibilities Lead and supervise the maintenance team Plan daily work schedules and prioritize repairs Maintain greenhouse systems, including electrical, plumbing, heating, boilers, irrigation, PRIVA climate controls, generators, pumps, and environmental systems Oversee maintenance of forklifts, production equipment, conveyors, and other facility equipment Manage preventative maintenance and equipment documentation Coordinate contractors and oversee facility improvement projects Manage propane systems and utility infrastructure Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations Continuously improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency Manage CMMS ticketing system for coordinating maintenance service requests
Required:
5-10 years of maintenance leadership experience Strong electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and industrial maintenance knowledge Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment Experience with preventative maintenance programs Strong organizational and communication skills Experience operating heavy equipment and using hand and power tools
Preferred:
Greenhouse, agriculture, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance experience Experience with PRIVA or other automation/climate control systems Welding and fabrication experience Knowledge of boilers, irrigation, generators, and environmental controls
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
