We're seeking a highly motivated Wastewater Site Manager to lead daily operations at a wastewater treatment facility while shaping long-term performance through strategic planning and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Operational Leadership Oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and design specifications Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures to optimize efficiency Maintain a site that is inspection-ready and professionally maintained at all times Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop site personnel Conduct performance reviews and drive professional growth initiatives Foster a strong safety culture and accountability across the team Facility & Grounds Management Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, infrastructure, and grounds Coordinate landscaping, pest control, and overall site upkeep Safety & Compliance Partner with Safety leadership to maintain a safe and compliant work environment Deliver and document training programs; ensure adherence to policies and regulations Planning, Reporting & Hybrid Work Prepare reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for internal and external stakeholders Analyze operational data to identify improvements Collaborate remotely with leadership using modern communication tools Maintenance & Resource Management Drive preventive maintenance programs and oversee repairs Manage contractors and ensure quality and compliance Oversee inventory, tools, and equipment procurement Financial & Strategic Input Contribute to budgeting and long-term operational planning Support capital planning including construction, repairs, and upgrades
What You Bring Experience:
5+ years in wastewater operations (2+ years leadership preferred)
Certification:
Wastewater Treatment Operator license required
Education:
Associate's degree preferred (HS diploma required) Strong knowledge of operations, maintenance, safety practices, and compliance standards Ability to interpret technical documents, analyze data, and make informed decisions Excellent communication and leadership skills Physical & Work Environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying weather and plant conditions Comfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, odors, and chemicals (with proper PPE) Why Join Us?
