In this role, you'll help ensure our residents, employees, and visitors enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment every day . We're looking for a strong leader who takes pride in their work, can prioritize competing needs, and understands the importance of maintaining a healthcare environment to the highest standards. What You'll Do Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility's maintenance department Perform and coordinate routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upkeep Maintain the building, grounds, equipment, and systems in safe and operational condition Identify maintenance concerns and ensure repairs are addressed promptly Supervise, train, schedule, and provide direction to maintenance team members Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and required documentation Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as necessary Monitor maintenance supplies, equipment, and departmental needs Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements Partner with facility leadership and department managers to address maintenance needs Assist with inspections, surveys, life-safety requirements, and emergency preparedness Respond to urgent maintenance and facility-related concerns as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a commercial setting Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and building operations Experience with preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities Strong leadership and communication skills Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred Why Join Oakwood Care Center?
