Job Description:
The System Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring processes in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems. The role will focus on building workflows within the RCM systems to create efficiency for the RCM teams.
Responsibilities:
Subject matter expert for RCM systems Monitors daily and monthly automated process in the RCM systems Resolves system tasks that are created by the RCM team Runs the necessary processes to generate claims or patient statements Adds new providers and locations as requested by management Maintains plan code mapping and updates payer IDs as necessary Assists with the end of month close process in the practice management system Participates in the monthly systems calls with practice management vendors Adds or modifies rules in the rules engines and practice management systems Makes necessary modifications to the practice management system master tables as requested by management Assists with complex clearinghouse rejections as needed Builds rules to help improve efficiency of the workflows in the RCM systems Participates in development of new RCM systems or workflow changes to existing systems.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years experience in RCM High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience with practice management systems
Essential Competencies:
Attendance is an essential job function. Excellent customer service skills Working knowledge of billing, HCPCS, CPT and ICD codes Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and other colleagues, demonstrating initiative, mature judgment, and customer service orientation. Effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills. Exceptional Multi-tasking, organizational skills and superb attention to detail.
