Job Description
About Us:
Southern Coastal Forest Products II We are a fence post and utility pole production saw mill in Princess Anne, MD. The Heavy Equipment Operator/ Supervisor will be responsible for having the skills and knowledge of heavy equipment operation techniques to perform the daily tasks of production within both pole and post mills.Key Responsibilities:
- Have a working knowledge of and ability to operate: o Heavy general construction equipment, like a knuckle boom, off-road truck, front-end loader, forklift, and dump truck. o Heavy large tools such as rollers, chain saws, generators, compressors, tampers, rollers, cement saws, core drills, welding knowledge a plus. o Hand tools
- Services and performs general and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor. Examples may include laborer duties.
Requirements:
- Have a valid
Driver's License Preferred Experience & Education Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform physical labor indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform duties in a safe productive manner.

- Working conditions include restricted movement, intense noise, extreme temperatures, and a dirty environment.
