Job Description

Join our team at Woodmont Park. We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor Technician to oversee maintenance operations at our 414-home community. The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience with great leadership skills, maintenance experience, and HVAC expertise. This position includes on-call responsibilities.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking a motivated Maintenance Supervisor Technician. In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for leading a team and ensuring the community remains in compliance with both internal company standards and applicable laws. As a supervisor, you'll provide hands-on trouble-shooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, tiling, and appliances.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
Lead by example: Assist in training, coaching, and managing a successful service team Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors Maintain accurate logs of, and schedules for, all maintenance work, and materials Assist in ensuring all company policies, procedures, and internal quality control standards are always upheld Monitor daily activities of service team to ensure product and service quality Perform daily checks of overall community appearance including cleanliness Perform service technician responsibilities as necessary Schedule and manage preventative maintenance Provide high levels of service to all customers and team members Respond in emergency situations, as needed Demonstrate behaviors that cultivate a positive work culture Contribute to community and company engagement efforts Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Ability to perform all Service Technician duties Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding interpersonal skills Exceptional customer service skills Ability to effectively lead, train, and motivate High-level critical thinking skills Knowledge of current applicable laws Strong organizational skills Adaptability and flexibility in fast paced environments Ability to keep neat and accurate records Ability to lift 60 pounds to the shoulder and carry it Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge a plus Experience with Yardi software products a plus CFC Certification a plus Bilingual a plus
WHAT'S REQUIRED FROM YOU
Four years of maintenance-related experience including: pre-punch, punch-out, routine maintenance, troubleshoot/repair leaks, troubleshoot/repair broken electrical wiring Prior supervision experience Supervise and ensure maintenance team is performing all duties assigned. Conduct building and equipment inspections Contact vendors Resolve maintenance issues in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances repair Manage make ready and apartment turnover process with attention to details and timeliness Update work orders, follow up, and close requests upon completion in a timely matter Ordering and maintaining supplies Communicate with the Property Manager on day-to-day operations of the property.
