Job Title:
Maintenance Manager Job Description As a Maintenance Manager, you will supervise a small team of mechanics during the first and second shift. You will be responsible for overseeing payroll, delegating tasks, making work order schedules, and ordering parts. Your role will involve completing planned and emergency maintenance work assignments safely and promptly. You will inspect and repair conveyors, gear reducers, chains, belt drives, cappers, fillers, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Additionally, you will repair equipment electrically, including motors, PLCs, gearboxes, and control panels, and maintain packaging and production systems. Welding skills are preferred but not required. Accurate and timely completion of records and paperwork is essential, as is the operation of machinery. Responsibilities Supervise a small team of mechanics on the first and second shift. Manage payroll, delegate tasks, and make work order schedules. Order parts and complete planned and emergency maintenance work assignments safely and on time. Inspect and repair conveyors, gear reducers, chains, belt drives, cappers, fillers, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Repair equipment electrically, including motors, PLCs, gearboxes, and control panels. Maintain packaging and production systems and equipment. Complete required records and paperwork neatly, accurately, and promptly. Operate machinery. Essential Skills Maintenance repair and technician skills. Preventative and corrective maintenance expertise. Leadership development and maintenance management. Mechanical and electrical skills, including pneumatics. Preventive maintenance and repair capabilities. PLC troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 3 years of management experience. Welding skills preferred but not required. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rosedale, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
