Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facility maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, manage maintenance repair procedures, and coordinate projects to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Your leadership will drive a proactive approach to industrial maintenance, leveraging your mechanical knowledge and management expertise to foster a safe and productive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex systems, implement best practices in facilities management, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Repair machine and mechanical equipment such as pumps, chillers, boilers, HVAC units, fans, valves, hydraulic cylinders, burners, pipes, and motors including diagnosing source of trouble. 2. Performing quality checks on HVAC, air compressors, stability chambers, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems 3. Interface with preventative maintenance, calibration and other sub-contractors 4. Work in a cleanroom environment, when required, and follow all GMP guidelines. 5. Be able to work independently from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions. 6. Assist in production equipment set-up such as tablet presses and packaging equipment. 7. Overseeing landscaping and pest control. 8. Set up and operate shop equipment and powered hand tools. 9. Conduct preventative maintenance duties on equipment. 10. Update all mechanical drawings. 11. Maintain maintenance records. 12. Maintain spare parts inventory for plant equipment. 13. Monitor plant utilities control system (EMCS). 14. Assist in developing and implementing a preventative maintenance program. 15. Read and understand safety data sheets before working with hazardous materials. 16. Checking and responding to security and safety issues.
Requirements:
1. Minimum - High School graduate. 2. Five years practical experience. 3. Ability to follow directions. 4. Ability to work with limited supervision and make decisions. 5. Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy objects and crawl in tight spaces. 6. Good organization and communication skills. 7. Knowledge of electrical work. 8. Knowledge of plumbing work. 9. Pipe fitting and some welding experience, preferably stainless steel. 10. Drywall installation and repair experience. 11. Pharmaceutical maintenance experience is a plus. 12. Computer experience is a plus. 13. Ability to operate shop equipment and machines.
Pay:
$27.47 - $33.08 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
