Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Service Manager/Writer, where you will lead the service department with energy and expertise! In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind delivering exceptional customer service, managing repair orders, and ensuring smooth communication between technicians and clients. Your automotive knowledge and sales skills will help maximize service opportunities while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs Prepare detailed repair orders, estimates, and invoices using auto estimating software Communicate clearly with technicians about repair procedures, parts needed, and timelines Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspensions, shocks & struts Manage workflow efficiently to ensure timely vehicle turnaround while maintaining quality standard Maintain comprehensive records of all service activities, customer interactions, and vehicle histories Qualifications Proven dealership experience,Maine state inspection license Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience preferred Expertise in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance procedures Familiarity with automotive repair processes Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships Ability to upsell services confidently while ensuring customer satisfaction Knowledge of various automotive systems including , oil changes, tire services, suspension work, shocks & struts, brake repairs Automotive service technician experience is highly valued for understanding technical aspects of repairs Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive care!
