Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for automation and maintenance? We're looking for a dedicated Maintenance Manager to spearhead the upkeep of our cutting-edge automated material handling system. Take charge, mentor a dynamic team, and ensure seamless operations in a high-tech warehouse environment.
Starting Salary Range:
$95,000 As a Maintenance Manager, you will: Guide a team of electro-mechanical technicians in maintaining, repairing, and improving our advanced warehouse systems. Continuously review and analyze system performance, collaborating with the continuous improvement team. Develop and execute efficient maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and meet production targets. Maintain an effective maintenance labor schedule within our CMMS program. Analyze work order data, ensuring adherence to standards and taking corrective actions as needed. Direct the spare parts coordinator to maintain necessary inventory levels for system performance. Assist the Site Manager, acting as a proxy in their absence and supporting local team leadership. Maintain accurate training and documentation libraries. Monitor and act on KPIs, ensuring system performance meets standards. Respond promptly to system outages. Collaborate with Operations to achieve daily productivity goals. Enforce safety guidelines, HR policies, and best practices.
Requirements:
Five (5) plus years in managing service and maintenance in production environments with mechanical automation and electrical systems. Management experience in an industrial setting with production or manufacturing equipment. CMRP or relevant project planning certification is a plus. Previous experience with material handling automation in an automated warehouse is a plus.
Experience with:
Electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears) Control technology (servo drives/inverters) 3 Phase 480v, DC, and 24v control Basic PLC logic Basic DCS networking Experience managing up to 40 employees in shift patterns. Knowledge of
OSHA/NFPA
safety guidelines. Expertise in mechanical maintenance, repair, wiring diagrams, and electrical measurement. Experience with metal fabrication and shop tool knowledge. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Excellent PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Extensive knowledge of CMMS programs and maintenance planning software.
Physical Requirements:
Continuous walking, climbing, and standing. Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds. Capability to work at heights up to 115 feet. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training, projects, and leadership meetings. Flexibility to work as needed to support site operations/maintenance requirements. Why WITRON?
