Temp Advantage Technical is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for a leading automotive OEM in Livonia, MI. This is a temp opportunity on day shift, offering immediate placement in a high-volume manufacturing environment where your leadership directly impacts uptime and production flow. What You'll Do (Job Duties) Champion a plant-wide safety culture and enforce workplace policies Lead and coach skilled trades and maintenance teams on asset management, including MTTR, MTBF, preventative maintenance, and condition-based monitoring Leverage machine monitoring tools to identify system constraints and reduce production interruptions Build and maintain strong relationships with hourly team members, union representatives, and management Administer the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) consistently Evaluate team member performance and drive continuous improvement What You Bring (Requirements and Qualifications) High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree a plus 1+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Fundamental knowledge of PLC logic and controls; mechanical aptitude Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification preferred Prior experience managing a unionized workforce a plus Benefits Competitive weekly pay Weekly direct deposit Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Optional 401(k) Step into a role where your expertise keeps production moving.
