JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Manager Assembly serves as a technical leader for the development, implementation and support of corresponding equipment required to produce products with minimum downtime and lead all aspects of maintenance and its personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understand and comply with all OSHA, safety and PPE requirements; 2. Understand and comply with all ISO and environmental requirements. 3. Develops processes to ensure quality, cost, and efficiency requirements are met. 4. Development and Management of a yearly budget. 5. Part of design team to define the necessary equipment for production or upgrades to existing equipment. 6. Serve as a contact point between maintenance and upper management 7. Participates in continual improvement process/programs 8. Manages suppliers and contractors 9. Ensure personnel and personal training is current in regards to all utilized technologies 10. Works with purchasing on purchasing and pricing agreements 11. Selection and development of sub-department supervisor and directly reporting staff 12. Development of maintenance department targets and KPI 13. Confer with sub departments on regular bases 14. Serve as the point of contact for other maintenance personnel and Multi-Craft Technicians; 15. Review tasks and issues from maintenance work orders and production pass down information on a daily basis 16. Evaluate the effectiveness of optimization and corrective actions 17. Develop solutions and budgets for internal projects and changes 18. Responsible for company owned equipment and use in a correct and proper manner 19. Program development (for example Lock out-Tag out, arc flash, etc. 20. Defines and implements program and tasks to achieve the departmental goals 21. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Engineering Degree or equivalent technical education and experience. 2. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in maintenance/engineering. 3. Solid work experience in a manufacturing environment in the Automotive Industry. 4. Any relevant certifications or professional programs.
