Summary of Job Duties:
The Tank Yard Crew Leader works alongside the crew. Helps to plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities of their assigned crew. The Tank Yard Crew Leader ensures all jobs are performed correctly, cost effectively, on schedule, safely, and to the satisfaction of the Tank Yard Supervisor, Tank Yard Manager and Hausbeck Pickle Co. This may be an on call, seven day a week operation.
Schedule:
2nd Shift, may be an on-call 7 day/week position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to work within precise limits and standards of accuracy set by the Tank Yard Management. Must be able to meet specified goals pertaining to safety, quality, employee coverage, company policies and efficiencies. Provide training to new employees. Must perform a variety of duties, which may change often, such as, production schedules, salt stock schedules and green stock schedules. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Must follow the employee handbook without any exceptions. Must work alongside crewmembers to insure all daily duties are completed. Must be dedicated to work long hours and weekends when requested to do so. Must be quality conscientious. Must be organized and have all tank yard paper work available at a moments notice. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Provides model behavior to demonstrate corporate values. Ensure all SOP's are being followed correctly and accurately. Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures. Ensuring all resources are utilized efficiently. Must adhere to all good manufacturing policies. Must adhere to all safety policies. Maintain housekeeping in area. Additional Responsibilities Perform all other duties as assigned.
