Job Description
Overview We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Maintenance Manager to maintain, further develop, and implement effective repair strategies and programs. The individual is responsible for the maintenance and operation of equipment within the divisional operations. Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the candidate will work with the maintenance division personnel to coordinate general repair projects, upgrades and/or improvements in conjunction with the continuous improvement goals of the Company. The successful candidate for this role will account for equipment downtime, support staff development, enhance efficiency, maintain relationships with vendors, enhance the organization's image and meet overall growth objectives. Duties Oversee daily facilities including but not limited to office, plant and equpment Assist in training team members Assist in hiring maintenance and building staff Create and manage budgets for projects under direct control Generate reports and give presentations as necessary Assist in materials management Skills 5 years experience leading industrial maintenance activities or combination of engineering degree and years acceptable Mechanical aptitude Experience working with various business functions such as plant management, purchasing, and quality Strong leadership qualities Excellent communication skills Intermediate computer skills Highly organized Strong Work ethic Good interpersonal skills Proactive nature
