About the Role As an Aircraft Maintenance Lead with Inspector Authorization, you will serve as a technical authority, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of airworthiness and precision. You will drive operational excellence by mentoring technicians and overseeing complex maintenance tasks to ensure our fleet remains in peak condition. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive aircraft inspections and maintenance, ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and safety protocols. Utilize Inspector Authorization (IA) credentials to approve aircraft for return to service and finalize annual inspections. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the maintenance crew, fostering a culture of high-quality craftsmanship. Manage detailed maintenance records and logbook entries to ensure accurate compliance documentation. Identify and resolve complex mechanical or structural issues through advanced diagnostic techniques. Coordinate project timelines and communicate aircraft status effectively with pilots and stakeholders. Optimize shop workflow and efficiency to meet rigorous service deadlines. Qualifications Required Skills Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification. Valid Inspector Authorization (IA) status. 4+ years of experience in an aviation maintenance leadership or supervisory role. Comprehensive understanding of FAA regulatory requirements and inspection procedures. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot diverse aircraft systems and lead technical teams. Preferred Skills Prior experience working within general aviation environments. Strong background in project management or shop scheduling. Proven track record of maintaining high-quality standards in fast-paced maintenance settings.
