Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Director of Buildings & Ground to join our team. Responsible for the overall management, supervision, maintenance, safety, and long-range planning of district buildings, grounds, equipment, vehicles and transportation. Supervises maintenance and custodial staff and manages operations, maintenance, capital facilities, and health and safety budgets. This is a twelve month, full-time position benefit eligible position. Non-aligned contract. Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Salary range for this position is $105,000 per year - $120,000 per year.

Qualifications:

Minimum five years of related experience, including supervision, training, and staff evaluation. Experience with HVAC, construction, electrical/electronics, facilities and grounds maintenance, safety compliance, and indoor air quality. Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), International Billing Code (IBC), and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) requirements. Strong communication, organizational, supervisory, decision-making, and technology skills.
