About the Role As a Senior Fleet Maintenance Lead, you will serve as the technical authority and operational guide for our service facility. You will balance hands-on repair work with the oversight of shop productivity, ensuring that our fleet of gas and diesel vehicles remains in peak operating condition through expert diagnostics and team mentorship. Responsibilities Direct daily shop operations to maximize throughput and maintain high service standards. Execute complex mechanical and electrical repairs on a diverse range of commercial and fleet equipment. Manage the lifecycle of repair orders, from initial diagnostic assessment to final quality verification. Mentor junior technicians to elevate team skill sets and ensure consistent workmanship. Coordinate with external vendors to source parts and manage inventory levels effectively. Champion a culture of safety by maintaining equipment standards and enforcing rigorous shop protocols. Provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding repair status and technical recommendations. Required Skills Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in automotive or diesel repair. Advanced proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting medium-duty and fleet vehicle systems. Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to safety compliance and high-quality mechanical output. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a Shop Foreman or supervisory capacity. Expertise in both gas and diesel engine platforms. Strong organizational skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
