Medical, Vision, Dental, life insurance available on your first date of employment! Nature and Scope Lead the maintenance work management process, including screening, prioritization, approval, scheduling, execution and close out of maintenance work orders. Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules to ensure maintenance activities support production requirements while maximizing equipment reliability. Ensure all maintenance work is properly planned, working with the planner before scheduling, including labor, materials, permits, special tools, and all safety requirements. Facilitate daily maintenance coordination meetings and weekly scheduling meetings with Operations, Reliability, Procurement, and Engineering departments. Maintain and manage maintenance backlog ensuring work orders remain current, prioritized, properly planned, and scheduled according to plant needs. Coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance activities with the asset integrity group (Inspectors) to ensure compliance with maintenance strategies and reliability objectives. Monitor PM and PdM compliance and ensure corrective actions are executed in a timely manner. Work closely with Reliability Engineers and Inspectors to prioritize equipment defects, bad actors, inspection findings, vibration reports, oil analysis results, thermography findings, and other predictive maintenance recommendations. Coordinate and own major maintenance outages, annual plant shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and capital project tie-ins. Develop shutdown schedules, monitor critical path activities, and coordinate maintenance resources to ensure work is completed safely, on budget, and on schedule. Coordinate contractor activities including scope development, scheduling, execution oversight, safety compliance, and performance monitoring. Work with the Maintenance Manger to monitor maintenance labor utilization, overtime usage, contractor costs, and maintenance expenditures to ensure budget compliance. Support preparation of annual maintenance budgets, monthly forecasts, and maintenance cost tracking activities. Ensure maintenance history, work order closeout information, and equipment records are accurately maintained within the CMMS. Maintain proficiency in CMMS systems including Tabware, SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or other maintenance management systems with EM. Support implementation and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and root cause failure analysis (RCFA) programs. Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations and assist in developing corrective actions to eliminate recurring equipment failures. Collaborate with Procurement and Storeroom personnel to optimize inventory levels, critical spare parts availability, and maintenance material management. Support development and implementation of maintenance procedures, job plans, standard operating procedures, shutdown plans, and best practices. Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to Maintenance Supervisors, Technicians, and Contractors. Promote ongoing improvement in maintenance processes, work management systems, equipment reliability, and workforce productivity. Ensure compliance with all MSHA, OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards. Participate in incident investigations, safety audits, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support operational excellence initiatives focused on improving plant reliability, availability, maintainability, and overall equipment effectiveness. Monitor and report maintenance KPIs including PM Compliance, Schedule Compliance, Backlog Health, Availability, Reliability, and Maintenance Cost Performance. And other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's or Associate degree in mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or High School certificate with Millwright foreman experience plus required certifications.
Required Work Experience:
7-10 Years experience in cement manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Required Computer and Software Skills:
Tabware, Project, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Travel Requirements:
0 - 10%. Additional Qualifications Professional certification (Special trades in Rotating & Fixed Equipment). Prior experience in the cement industry. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software tools like Excel. Familiarity with asset management systems and predictive maintenance tools.
