Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of our manufacturing environment. This role is vital in overseeing the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of all plant equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a passion for maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable facility. As a key player in our operations, you will drive maintenance strategies that support production goals and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Supervise daily maintenance activities across all plant areas, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance are performed to minimize downtime. Lead and coordinate a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing maintenance department. Develop and implement maintenance schedules utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and inventory levels. Oversee troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment, using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Manage electrical and mechanical systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HVAC units, industrial machinery, and facility infrastructure. Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to electrical work, high voltage systems, and general facilities management to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with production teams on project management initiatives to upgrade or install new equipment while minimizing impact on operations. Requirements Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams within an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience, including working with schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, HVAC systems, and facilities management practices. Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems along with safety standards governing their operation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while motivating team members. Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration across departments. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting purposes. Prior experience with industrial maintenance management systems and project management methodologies is highly desirable. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
