Responsibilities include:
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff. Drive department profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. Ensure customers receive clear communication regarding vehicle repairs, maintenance recommendations, pricing, and timelines. Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed throughout the service process. Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate service department personnel. Establish department goals, budgets, and performance objectives while implementing strategies for continued growth. Maintain and improve Customer Satisfaction (CSI) scores by resolving customer concerns quickly and professionally. Ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards. Stay current on industry trends, manufacturer programs, and emerging automotive technologies. Foster a positive, accountable culture focused on teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. What We're Looking For Minimum of 3 years of automotive Service Manager experience Proven leadership and team-building skills Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience managing departmental performance, budgets, and profitability Results-driven mindset with a passion for developing people High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework is a plus) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record If you're ready to lead a team, make an impact, and grow your career with a company that believes in promoting from within, apply today and become part of the Walt Massey family.
