Job Description

GARDEN MAINTENANCE CREW LEAD
At Alpine Reflections, Inc., we design, build, and maintain beautiful landscapes across southwestern Montana. If you enjoy horticulture, opportunities for growth and skill development, and a cooperative team culture, consider joining us for the 2026 growing season in our beautiful Rocky Mountain setting. We are looking for a Crew Lead to work within our team to provide comprehensive landscape care for residential and commercial properties. This role is a seasonal full-time position starting in Spring 2026. Opportunities for year-round work for the right applicant.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Garden Maintenance Crew Lead will be responsible to… Lead crew to maintain gardens and natural areas - tasks include planting, weed management, tree care, drip irrigation maintenance, and more; Manage planting days at landscape installation projects; Restock work vehicles on a daily and/or weekly basis; Communicate regularly with manager providing project updates and inventory needs; Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Alpine team members, clients, and the public; Exhibit flexibility with schedule, changing priorities, and project demands as needed; Safely drive a company truck and trailer to job sites daily; Maintain accurate and timely documentation of work performed using BOSSLM software and any additional software systems including the Google suite.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful applicants will… Be hard working and detail oriented; Have excellent communication and problem solving skills; Work well both independently and as part of a team; Consistently demonstrate initiative and good judgement; Possess some landscape and irrigation knowledge, but training will be provided; Physically be able to work long hours in all weather conditions and lift 50lbs; Have a valid U.S. driver's license;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Preference may be given to applicants who… Have at least 2 years experience in the horticulture and landscaping industry; Have at least 2 years proven leadership experience; Possess a current Montana Herbicide Applicator License; Have skills pulling a trailer; Have experience using BOSSLM software.
