The Opportunity We are hiring a Lawn Maintenance Crew Lead to take ownership of day-to-day lawn care operations in the field. This role is ideal for someone experienced in commercial mowing and lawn maintenance who is ready to lead a small crew and be accountable for quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. As Crew Lead, you will run routes, set the pace for your team, train newer crew members, and be the on-site face of 4 Seasons Landscaping for our clients. As our company continues to expand, this position offers clear room to grow into broader leadership responsibilities and increased scope. What You'll Do Lead a lawn maintenance crew to complete daily mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and property clean-up on residential and commercial sites. Operate and care for commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related tools. Plan and organize each day's work so all properties on the schedule are completed on time and to company quality standards. Apply your irrigation knowledge to diagnose and address basic irrigation issues and support seasonal system checks. Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and crew members, addressing questions or concerns on site and representing the company's standards. What Success Looks Like Within your first 3-6 months, your crew consistently completes assigned routes on time while meeting or exceeding quality standards and client expectations. Equipment is operated safely, maintained properly, and downtime is minimized through daily care and early reporting of issues. Crew members look to you for direction, receive clear guidance, and improve their speed, quality, and professionalism under your leadership. Clients view you as a reliable, professional point of contact on site, with positive feedback on communication, cleanliness, and overall service. What We're Looking For Hands-on experience in commercial lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and clean-up. Working knowledge of basic irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, and seasonal checks. Proven leadership qualities with the ability to guide a small team, set expectations, hold high standards, and lead by example. Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism, with the ability to problem-solve in the field and adapt in a fast-growing company.
