BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering, and Program/Project Management Services to our clients. Position Summary BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Facility Space Planner to join our team providing technical support to the 341st Civil Engineer Squadron (341 CES) on-site at Malmstrom, AFB, Montana. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Lead data gathering efforts, integrating facility space standards with the analysis of building utilization, and functional use data to support the optimization of the installation's footprint
Prepare analytical reports which interpret space standards and analyze building utilization, condition, and use to ensure efficient development and meet mandated submission requirements
Plan, organize, and lead others in studies, record and manage the processes and maintain necessary documentation. Communicate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations. Articulate complex proposals that involve substantial resources and require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures
Safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating throughout the missile field on both paved and gravel roads Requirements Key Qualifications U.S. Citizenship and a DoD Secret Clearance is required
Professional knowledge of engineering/planning concepts, standards, methods, and techniques to effectively apply theories, principles, and concepts to facility space management, planning, and optimization programs.
Strong knowledge of facility planning, space utilization, and infrastructure lifecycle management
Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Familiarity with Air Force planning processes, UFC guidance, and facility standards preferred
Experience integrating data from planning and asset management systems (GIS, SMS)
Strong Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey concepts to diverse audiences
Software:
Proficiency using MS Office software including Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint and advanced Adobe skills preferred
Self-Starter:
Highly motivated to improve organizational efficiency, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously
Experience & Education
Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year of experience.
Education:
A minimum of a high school diploma is required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer.
Ability to walk and navigate varied facilities, including construction areas and uneven terrain.
Fieldwork might require bending, stooping, and kneeling to access and inspect facilities in confined or difficult-to-reach areas.

A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.
