This position requires a strong background in mechanical knowledge and appliance repair, as well as excellent leadership skills to manage a team of service technicians. The Service Manager will be responsible for coordinating field service activities, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties Lead and manage a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service calls to optimize technician efficiency. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on technical skills, safety practices, and customer service excellence. Review and analyze schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively. Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with company policies and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, inventory management, and customer feedback. Collaborate with other departments to improve service processes and enhance overall operational efficiency. Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within the service or maintenance industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and property maintenance. Familiarity with field service operations and the ability to read schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to maintain a positive attitude while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
