Job Description
Director of Maintenance Position Type Full Time 1.0 Job Shift Day Category Management Description The Director of Maintenance will spend most of his/her time managing the department to include skilled trades in repair, preventive maintenance, renovation, work order control and inventory control for all corporate and sub corporation facilities. He/she will provide leadership in establishing high-quality standards for the facility operations and ensures facilities are compliant with regulatory requirements i.e., Federal, State, Local, Joint Commission (this is not an all-inclusive list). Maintains proper documentation as evidence of compliance, ensuring that facilities are a safe environment for patient and family centered care in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the hospital and sub corporations. Qualifications Bachelor degree or related technical college degree is preferred. Minimum High School graduate with some additional training at a technical college. Preferred ASHE certification of Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM).
