We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities maintenance team with pride and ensure the optimal operation of our food manufacturing environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, to maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable production facility. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage maintenance projects, and uphold high standards of safety and quality.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position manages preventive maintenance programs, responds to equipment issues, coordinates with production leadership, and supports continuous improvement across the facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a tangible impact on operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and support a team of 2-3 maintenance technicians, driving continuous improvement initiatives in safety, efficiency, and process optimization. Be a visible presence on the plant floor, supporting your team and helping them resolve issues in real-time. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and schedules for production equipment. Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime. Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems, electrical circuits (including low), HVAC units, and industrial equipment. Maintain and monitor production machinery, air compressors, and supporting plant systems. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or equipment installation, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or installations while maintaining strict quality standards. Supervise daily operations related to facilities management, including security systems, lighting, plumbing, and environmental controls. Track maintenance work, inspections, and repairs using logs or maintenance software. Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance inventory. Drive initiatives that improve energy efficiency and reduce downtime across manufacturing processes. Strong communication, problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Proven management experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management within a manufacturing setting. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits (both low voltage), schematics interpretation, and industrial maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes. Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking. Strong understanding of HVAC systems design, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Refrigeration experience is a plus. Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a safety-first environment. Project management experience overseeing maintenance projects from planning through execution. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration across departments.
