Job Description

Lead Facility Maintenance & Safety Excellence Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing (KMM) is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance and cleaning operations across our facilities. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient work environment by supervising maintenance and custodial staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining facility infrastructure, equipment, and grounds. The Maintenance Leader performs a wide range of repair and preventative maintenance duties including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, vehicle upkeep, snow removal, lawn care, and general facility maintenance while supporting production, continuous improvement, and workplace safety initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and experience troubleshooting and maintaining facility systems and equipment. Preferred experience includes HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, painting, welding, and forklift operation. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance schedules for heating and cooling systems, compressors, boilers, vehicles, grounds maintenance, and facility repairs; ensuring compliance with safety regulations; managing maintenance supplies; assisting with special projects and workstation improvements; and supporting production needs as required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be able to pass background and insurance screenings, communicate effectively in English, and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions, climbing ladders, and working occasional evenings and weekends.
