The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing the maintenance team and overseeing the efficient scheduling of all preventative and corrective work. ... We are seeking a dedicated leader to oversee a maintenance team and ensure the operational excellence of a 102,000-square-foot facility. Minimum 5 years in maintenance technician roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize and assign daily work orders, providing clear direction and overseeing shift pass-down issues
  • Oversee a predictive and preventive maintenance (PM) program to eliminate unscheduled downtime and extend the lifespan of plant assets
  • Use systems to plan tasks, including required time, parts, and descriptions to maximize activity during planned downtime and washes
  • Support root cause analysis on equipment failures to ensure issues are permanently resolved
  • Handle timekeeping, performance evaluations, promotions, and transfers
  • Train and coach staff on existing and new equipment to ensure a high level of technical competency
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with capital projects and the development of department policies Working hours:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Education:
High School Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 5 years in maintenance technician roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity
  • Experience in Dairy or Food & Beverage manufacturing is required
  • Proficiency with high-speed filling machines and blow mold equipment is a high priority
  • Experience with the Allen Bradley platform is strongly desired; programming is a plus
  • Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and air compressors
  • Ideal target is 60% electrical and 40% mechanical expertise
  • Must understand motor control circuitry up to 480V-3 phase
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong team management skills, conflict resolution, and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in CMMS/Maintenance planning software; Micromen experience is a plus
