Service Manager | $85,000-$135,000 We're on the lookout for an experienced Service Manager to lead daily operations in a service shop and field environment, offering a competitive salary between $85,000 and $135,000 . In this role, you'll coordinate mechanics and technicians, manage maintenance schedules, handle parts ordering, create work orders, and ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.

What You'll Do:

Service & Shop Management:

Oversee daily operations in the service shop. Coordinate tasks among mechanics and technicians. Ensure repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently.

Staffing & Leadership:

Recruit and onboard skilled personnel. Create staffing schedules based on workload. Monitor team performance and identify training opportunities.

Preventative Maintenance:

Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules. Coordinate inspections and major service projects. Keep detailed service and maintenance records.

Compliance Management:

Stay updated on DOT regulations. Ensure records meet all compliance requirements. Communicate maintenance needs clearly to the team.

Parts & Inventory Management:

Identify and order parts for repairs. Maintain optimal inventory levels and vendor relationships.

Field Service Coordination:

Prioritize and coordinate responses to field service needs. Ensure technicians have the necessary tools and resources for repairs.

What You Need:

Strong mechanical experience with heavy equipment. Previous supervisory experience in a similar field. Solid understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostics. Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT regulations. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Work Environment:
