Grand Forks, ND Salary:
$93,000 - $138,000 + Excellent Benefits Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a long-established food manufacturing organization to identify a Maintenance Manager for a large-scale production facility in Grand Forks. This is a key leadership role overseeing maintenance operations, reliability initiatives, capital projects, and continuous improvement efforts within a highly automated manufacturing environment. You'll lead a skilled maintenance team, influence plant strategy, and play a major role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and driving operational performance. What You'll Do Lead maintenance, reliability, and engineering functions for a high-volume manufacturing facility. Drive preventive, predictive, and planned maintenance programs to improve equipment performance and asset life. Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, breakdown analysis, defect handling, and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee capital projects from planning through commissioning, including contractor management, timelines, and budget control. Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis efforts to reduce downtime and improve production efficiency. Develop maintenance team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management. Manage MRO inventory, maintenance budgets, and capital spending. Partner with plant leadership to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience leading maintenance teams, reliability programs, and capital projects. Strong understanding of CMMS systems (SAP preferred). Experience with PLCs, electrical systems, mechanical equipment, utilities, and boilers. Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience. Food manufacturing experience preferred.
