Maintenance Supervisor Jul 9, 2026 Full Time 237 12th St NW, West Fargo, ND 58078 Posted 1 hour ago Crary Industries Crary Industries is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This role will be based in the West Fargo location. Position Objective The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and supervise maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems. Key Activities/Responsibilities In addition to performing all functions of a Maintenance Technician the Maintenance Supervisor organizes and plans work, assigns job duties and monitors progress to ensure that both scheduled and unscheduled (emergency) maintenance functions are performed in a timely and effective manner. Responsible for all repairs and upkeep on the building and grounds i.e., plumbing, heating and air conditioning repair, carpentry, electrical work, painting, cleaning and other general maintenance. Uses testing equipment to diagnose mechanical tool, electronic problems in machinery and equipment. Identifies and troubleshoots electrical, HVAC and other failures/malfunctions in building systems. Requisitions required parts and supplies for repair work. Evaluates and determines/recommends the need for outside assistance. Coordinates outside services and directs/monitors contract work. Maintains & analyzes repair costs and frequency data on assets. Makes recommendations on continued repair vrs replacement. Ensures assigned areas are staffed sufficiently to meet work requirements. Interviews selects and orients new employees to their assigned area. Establishes performance requirements and clarifies responsibilities to those supervised. Conducts performance evaluations and identifies/communicates plans for individual employee improvement. Communicates merit increases for approval. Administers policies and employee relations programs in a manner that will emphasize positive value both to the company and to each individual employee. Ensures that the actual practices are consistent with the overall policies and will support a climate of positive employee relations. Trains new employees and retrains present employees to improve skills/work habits. Takes corrective action when dealing with discipline issues as appropriate. Establishes and maintains an open and effective line of communication with all employees. Administers safety programs in line with company requirements and OSHA regulations. Maintains housekeeping standards, which will promote safe and efficient operations. Develops recommends and implements new procedures and methods to improve quality and production efficiency. Keeps the Director of Operations informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates/communicates with other departments as required in a team effort to meet the customer's needs.
