Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Director to lead our facilities maintenance operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of our manufacturing and residential properties, ensuring all systems function seamlessly. Your leadership will drive safety, efficiency, and reliability across all maintenance activities, fostering a proactive environment that emphasizes continuous improvement. Duties Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing clear direction, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical systems, including electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting using schematics and ohmmeters. Manage plumbing system maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal functionality of water supply and drainage systems. Coordinate HVAC system repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain comfortable indoor environments while optimizing energy efficiency. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track asset history, and analyze maintenance data for continuous improvement. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for mechanical systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, HVAC units, and other facility components. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards related to facilities maintenance, welding, electrical work, and mechanical operations. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, schematics documentation, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) supplies inventory. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing processes and customer service excellence through reliable facility operations. Qualifications Proven supervisory experience leading maintenance teams within manufacturing or facilities environments. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in electrical systems repair, HVAC system troubleshooting, plumbing maintenance, welding skills, and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment repair, Ohmmeters, and CMMS software. Knowledge of residential painting techniques as part of general facility upkeep is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English for clear instruction and reporting purposes. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on safety protocols, team motivation, and operational excellence. Ability to perform detailed diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters or schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues effectively.
