•Maintenance Supervisor Manchester/Londonderry, NH Job Summary/Objective:
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the repair, maintenance, and replacement of production equipment, including mechanical, servo-mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control systems. This role ensures the efficient operation of equipment, manages inventory, and dispatches maintenance team members to address production equipment issues. The supervisor also performs minor engineering tasks and ensures compliance with safety and maintenance standards.Essential Functions:
Adhere to all safety rules and procedures consistently. Maintain and repair a range of production equipment including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Set up and configure processing lines foroptimalperformance. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently. Manage the inventory of spare parts and procure as needed based on directives from the Manager. Maintain OSHA Ammonia data sheets and conduct regular engine room readings. Execute preventive maintenance tasks to upholdhigh standardsof equipment reliability. Perform minor engineering tasks and design modifications as requested. Ensure all tasksare performedsafely andin accordance withcompany standards.Competencies:
Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures. Proficiencyin mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems maintenance. Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic diagrams. Experience with stick, TIG, and MIG welding. Knowledge of PLC systemspreferred. Ability to manage inventory andprocureparts efficiently. Capability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises maintenance team members. Provides guidance and support, assigns tasks, and ensurestimelycompletion of maintenance work.Work Environment:
Primarily indoor work in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to noisy environments and machinery. Requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment.Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods. Frequent bending, lifting, and twisting. Capability tolift upto 50 lbs. Requires use of personal protective equipment (e.g., hair net, beard net,ear plugs, safety shoes).Position Type:
Full-Time Work Hours:
First shift core schedule- Mon-Fri 7:00am
- 3:30pm / 8:00am
- 4:30pm Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends as needed.
